Blind Leap Of Faith...

Blind leap of faith. Four words. They have the impact to change our lives. Then again, most things do-it's just a matter of putting those fears and precautions that we allow to build up and putting them out of our minds and just trust in ourselves to find what we want, what we need, and who we are. We take that leap of faith to prove to ourselves what we are capable, but it's finding the strength and courage to actually do it that can be the hardest part. Without taking those chances though, where would we be in life? Would we even be able to call what we do living without taking risks and believing in ourselves?
I'm a planner-I like to know things ahead of time and I love it when they go according to plan. That makes risk-taking and dream-chasing hard work, but with belief in myself and in God, I know that I'll be okay and that I will ultimately find myself where I am supposed to be. People around me inspire me to take those chances and to believe in my dreams because I see them living there's everyday. My brother's going to Spain on a whim, Elise from SGP is moving continents to be a nanny, SGP took faith in us fans and are breaking past barriers, Raquel is going to move across the country for school, PD is fearless in her quest for talent on her podcasts-all of these people and so many more like them have a story to tell. Most of the time, the beginning of those stories are filled with fear and angst, but along the way, perseverance and dedication take flight and the dream you were chasing becomes the life you were living. I'm not writing this to tell other people how to live their lives, no, I'm writing it simply to remind myself of all the great places I've been and experiences I've had because of those blind leaps of faith and that the scariest part is just taking them...
