Hey guys, I'm Becca. I'm new to all of this blogging stuff but I figured that I should try it out. So now I have my music blaring and the urge to blog. :)
Well, the other day I was online and avoiding Biology 1108 when I came across a new blog that seemed amazing, and come to find out, it definitely was. Hilarie Burton has been my favorite actress for quite some time and so anything she does I try my best to support it and her. She has such a good heart, amazing sense of humor and sarcasm, not to mention awesome taste in music and fashion. Well, that being said, the blog I discovered by mere luck was for a production company that she and these two great guys, Kelly Tenney and Nicholas Gray, have recently started. These people care. They care about the important stuff. They are not out to make the big bucks or a hundred movies a year. They just want to keep the southern gothic aspect alive in the south, which, as a Georgia resident, i find fantastic. The first movie, "The Pedestrian," is actually written by Nick and by the little bit they've posted, it is going to be awesome. The story is amazing and the writing is excellent. Plus, Austin Nichols, who is totally amazing, is going to be playing the lead, Lincoln Booth (Can't you already see the conflicted greatness of the story? President- Lincoln, Assassin-Booth?). The other aspect that makes these guys unique is that they reach out to us fans, us supporters, and they make us a part of the project as well. They genuinely care about what we think and they go that extra mile to include us. The vlogs are amazing. They include visiting cemeteries, killer fashion, book recommendations, and tons of witty banter. The other people on there are just so awesome as well. I cannot even begin to describe how much fun they are. Neera, Liz, Podcaster Denise, Christy, Emma, Pf, MM, Eddie, Geoh, Raquel, and so many more. The live chat is outstanding and I've talked to people from so many countries...It's awesome is all I can say. So go check it out, join it, and come chat with us.

Okay so now I'm off to make a mix for my ride to school this week. I'm feeling like The Byrds, The Fray, maybe some Costello, perhaps some Carly Simon or Van Morrison, Grace Potter, Jack's Mannequin, and...okay well I clearly have some work to do, but thanks for stopping by to read my ramble. :)

nice way to start off your blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure everyone over at SGP will appreciate the shout-out. Soon everyone is going to know how awesome they are, and I know that they're going to be thankful for all the people that were there in the beginning.
see you around the chat.
